This print sized 265mm x 180mm, is mounted on a dark blue board for a 11″ x 14″ frame. It is printed on 100% cotton paper, but without the deckle edge.
These stirring words from the Articles of War, attributed to King Charles II, are cut into the masonry of the facade of the Royal Naval College Dartmouth overlooking the parade ground, and have been read by every naval officer who has passed out of the college, since it opened in 1905. Thus this print would be a fitting present to any young naval officer starting his career in the Royal Navy; and to those who are still serving or now retired from the senior service.
