This print sized 11” x 7.5” is on Blockingford 425gsm and mounted on a red (or dark blue) board (12.5” x9.5). The red ornamental ‘fleurons’ were specially cast for me by Stan Lane, at his Gloucester Typesetting, one of the last remaining metal type casting facilities within the UK. The two ‘Oyster Shell’ ornaments were cast by the wonderful firm of Stephenson Blake of Sheffield, who had to shut down some twenty years ago. This print will surely resonate with anyone with a love of the sea and sailing.
